Client:
Aarhus School of Architecture
Title:
History as Catalyst
Year:
2016
Venue:
Ventura Lambrate, Milan
Through experimentation and artistic practice, the exhibition focus on rethinking architecture
and design to improve people’s everyday lives in a society of constant change.
Using history as a catalyst for new experimentation, the school exhibits a curated selection of unique works in Ventura Lambrate during Milan Design Week 2016. Structures in straw, brick, glass and wood together with robotic thatching, casting and CNC milling address a reflective knowledge and interest in materials and discuss the potentials for architectural design.
All exhibited works are produced by bachelor, master and PhD students at the school’s fabrication facilities in close collaboration with the teaching staff and partners from the industry.
