Designer´s Cut explicitly refers to the original making or cutting of a film. Normally a prototype or a film is proceeded by the manufacturer´s cut and the final cut intended for the enduser. Designer´s Cut is the specially edited version of a carpet design which holds a more radical potential than the final cut – depending on the eye that sees, of course.
